The National Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases is one of the most modern and best equipped Slovak hospitals and is the ultimate centre of cardiovascular medicine in the Slovak Republic.
As part of our healthcare we provide rehabilitation of patients with heart and circulatory disease, as well as dispensing services for specific patient groups. A team of educated experts utilise state-of-the-art technology and closely cooperate with numerous significant foreign institutions in the field.
The National Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases also fills the role of a methodical centre for fulfilling complex tasks of the cardiovascular agenda in the Slovak Republic. The Institute takes part in basic and applied cardiovascular clinical research with subsequent application of research findings into practice. In terms of medical education, the Institute fulfils the role of a training base for the Slovak Medical University and the Faculty of Medicine of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
